Lemon Quartz

Lemon Quartz

Quartz, the second most abundant mineral in the earth's continental crust after Feldspar, derives its name from the Slavic word for "hard". It has been a prized gemstone for thousands of years being attractive, hard (7.0 on the Moh's scale), as well as inexpensive.

Lemon quartz is mainly characterized by its unique yellowish-green hue which ranges from light lime and yellow shades to deep golden hues.

Apart from being used as gemstones, it has also been found to possess metaphysical properties such as energizing one’s environment and revitalizing mental clarity.
