Moissanite

We offer two qualities of Moissanite. 

Our Timeless Moissanite® is our gold standard and considered fine quality.  Colour is in the DEF range for white gemstones.  Timeless Moissanite® are also available in a variety of colours, all are permanent with the exception of pink, where the colour is added to the stone via vapor disposition.

Our medium grade Moissanite are just as beautiful, they fall into the EF colour range and are sold without certification.

Moissanite is manufactured in a laboratory,  which means it is man-made and therefore synthetic.

Moissanite is commonly confused with lab-grown or synthetic diamonds, however they have a completely different chemical composition and are valued independently of one another.  Moissanite is a diamond alternative.

While Moissanite has almost identical properties of a diamond, it does not replicate the look of a diamond 100%. Moissanite are very sparkly. They have a higher refractive index than that of a diamond so they sparkle a lot more. This 'fire' is often rainbow coloured rather than colourless. In short, good quality Moissanite have a luster equivalent to a diamond but are more fiery. 

At the end of the day, Moissanite presents a viable option for those not wanting to purchase a diamond for budgetary or other reasons.
