Delivery options
Delivery Options
We use the 24-72 hour Speed Services countrywide delivery service through the South African Post Office (on a counter to counter basis), for the majority of our shipping in South Africa. Free insurance is provided on all parcels shipped from Touchstone. Should the items be of a sufficiently high value, Touchstone may elect to ship the goods using Ram Hand to Hand couriers, or facilitate delivery to a jeweller of choice for a secure collection.
All parcels are shipped using a waybill system, allowing tracking for peace of mind.
In all cases delivery will require the purchaser or party elected by the purchaser, at the time of purchase, to sign for the good and provide a valid id document, as proof of identity, the id number will be recorded against the receipt as proof of delivery.

How much will postage and packaging cost me?
All our items have a fixed P&P amount ranging from R60.00 to R250 depending on the method of delivery, and or location. Please only check out your web order once you have finished shopping for the day. If you check out a web order and then start another web order during the same day, this will incur another p&p.
How long will it take for me to get my order?
We aim to deliver to you within 2-5 working days but occasionally it may take longer during busy periods. We will always deliver within 10 working days.
Are delivery dates guaranteed?
Delivery dates cannot be completely guaranteed - we aim to deliver our products to you within 2-5 working days, If you have not received your product within 5 working days please contact our customer services team.
Do you deliver everywhere in South Africa?
For Speed Services counter to counter deliveries we deliver to all South African post offices. For hand to hand courier services we deliver to all addresses with a postcode.
What happens if I select Hand to Hand couriers and I'm not in when you deliver?
Most of our products are dispatched by our nominated carrier and will usually require a valid signature as proof of delivery (POD). If you are not in when your goods arrive by courier, a card will be left notifying you of the attempted delivery, and giving contact details for the courier company. You will need to contact them to arrange another delivery time. If this fails, the goods will be returned Touchstone Gems. On receipt of any undelivered items we will refund the full amount paid by you for the Product, (excluding the cost of delivery to you and any credit card processing charges. You will be responsible for the cost of the courier company returning the undelivered Product to us.
Please try and provide us with an address where there will be someone available to sign for the delivery, for example we can deliver to your place of work if that makes things easier for you.
Can I track my order progress?
If you provide us with an email address at the point of order, then we can send you an order confirmation when all orders you have placed in any one day have been processed. We will send you a dispatch confirmation once your orders have left our warehouse. This will provide you with a parcel tracking number linked to our nominated courier's website that will allow you to track you order.
